Youri was born and raised in Burgundy. He grew up in the vineyards, went back to university to deepen what he already knew, and has been guiding since 1999. Three degrees from the University of Burgundy, WSET Level 3, French Wine Scholar, BIVB certification, and membership in the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. He has also written two books on the Burgundy Climats: one with a preface by Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, the other with a preface by Prince Albert of Monaco.
The team around him is built to the same standard. David grew up working his father's vines in Meursault, trained as a cellar manager and sommelier at Patriarche, Pommard, and Boisset. Christine brings 20 years of guiding and cellar experience in Chambolle-Musigny. Fabien grew up at a family domaine in Savigny-lès-Beaune. The access this team has is the product of deep roots in the Burgundy region.
This is not a small, under-the-radar operation. Bourgogne Gold Tour has been covered by Robb Report, Forbes, and Bloomberg, among others.

The team's credentials run deeper than their certifications. Decades of hands-on work within Burgundy's domaines, from harvest to cellar to guiding, have built the kind of relationships that open doors most visitors never reach.

  • Family domaines across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune accessible through long-standing producer relationships
  • Tastings of all 33 Grand Crus available as a multi-day itinerary
  • Birthyear and anniversary vintage procurement from producers not available through retail
  • Cellar visits timed to winemaker availability, not public tasting room hours
  • Wine shipping coordinated from cellar door
Bourgogne Gold Tour builds each itinerary around the guest's experience level and interests. Tours are customizable from a half-day introduction to a multi-day tasting of all 33 Grand Crus. The team guides in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese. They also handle logistics such as transfers, restaurant reservations, and wine shipping.
