Private Wine Guide · Burgundy and Chablis, France
Géraldine de Kersaint Gilly grew up in Champagne, where her grandfather's vineyard in Moussy near Épernay has been producing since just after the Second World War. She spent a decade in the New York wine trade before returning to Paris in 2012 to found Wine Domini. Her credentials span the WSET Advanced Diploma, a degree in oenology from the University of Burgundy, Certified Wine Specialist from the Society of Wine Educators, and membership in the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, received at Clos Vougeot in 2019. Her son Timothée guides alongside her, holding WSET Level 3 and his own oenology background.
Wine Domini's base is Paris, where Géraldine runs small wine classes in her apartment in the 16th arrondissement. The Burgundy and Chablis programs are private day and overnight tours built from that foundation: two people with deep oenological training taking guests to the region they know at the academic and professional level.
Géraldine's oenology training at the University of Burgundy and her Tastevin membership give her standing in the Burgundy wine community beyond what most guides can claim. The estates on her itineraries are chosen accordingly.
