Anna grew up in Napa with deep roots in Italian wine culture, moved to Piedmont fifteen years ago, and never left. She worked two years at a Barolo estate, earned her Italian Wine Scholar credential through the Wine Scholar Guild and AIS Level 1 certification, and ran an Italian wine correspondence from Napa before making the move permanent. She also runs the Barolo Wine Club, which ships small-production Piedmont estates to members in the US.
Her husband Claudio co-guides, and the reviews hold across both of them: access to small family estates where the owner comes out personally, itineraries built around what the guest is actually looking for, and the kind of reception at the cellar door that only comes from someone the winemaker knows and trusts. One guest with two days' notice asked to get into a well-known Barolo estate. Anna's connections made it happen.

The wineries Anna and Claudio visit with guests are small, family-run operations chosen because they know the people, not because they appear in the guidebook.

  • Small Barolo estates across La Morra, Serralunga, Castiglione Falletto, and Verduno by personal introduction
  • Barbaresco producers in Treiso, Neive, and Barbaresco village
  • Roero estates across the Tanaro for guests who want to explore beyond Nebbiolo's heartland
  • First-generation winemakers and family domaines not accessible through standard booking platforms
  • Wine shipping to the US coordinated from the cellar
Every tour is private. Anna asks about your background and interests before building the itinerary. Days typically include two winery visits with tastings, lunch, and transport from your accommodation. Multi-day programs covering Barolo, Barbaresco, and Roero separately are available for guests who want to go deeper. Contact through the website to plan.
