Bordeaux Wine Vacations was co-founded by Daniel, an American expat with a degree from the Université de Bordeaux, around a small team of credentialed guides. Guillaume holds WSET Level 3 and spent a decade working in wineries and restaurants internationally before returning to Bordeaux. Thomas, also WSET Level 3, led guided tours at a classified Médoc estate and specializes in the Left Bank. Audrey holds WSET Level 2 alongside a Master's degree in Wine Tourism. Tours are private only, covering all Bordeaux appellations from single-day visits to all-inclusive programs of up to ten days.
All tours at Bordeaux Wine Vacations are private, so each party sets its own itinerary, pace, and depth of visit. The guide team's formal wine credentials and estate relationships across both banks shape which cellars are worth visiting and how the day is built.

Planning starts with a conversation about what the guest likes to drink, what they want to see, and how they like to travel; the itinerary is built from there. Day trips cover one Bordeaux region, typically with two château visits on a full day; multi-day programs (three to ten days) combine multiple appellations with accommodations, dining, and logistics handled by the team.
