Tour style Private only

Simon grew up near Savennières in the Loire Valley and spent fifteen years as a head sommelier and restaurant director in Michelin-starred dining rooms across the UK, China, and France, working under Gerard Basset MS MW, Henri Chapon MS, and Ronan Sayburn MS. A career at that level teaches you to read wine as a set of relationships, not a catalogue. That is what he brings to Burgundy now.
He runs Heritour Voyage as a private operation with Vicky, who co-directs and handles client relations in English, French, and Mandarin. Days are built around the guest, the season, and which producers are worth the visit. Guests who have visited Burgundy before describe finding access to private winemakers they couldn't reach independently, and a more systematic understanding of the region than multiple solo visits had produced.

The producers worth visiting in Burgundy rarely keep tasting rooms. Simon's years on the trade side of Michelin wine lists put him in regular contact with small Côte d'Or and Chablis domaines. The cellars on his itineraries reflect those relationships.

  • Private visits with boutique growers across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, by appointment
  • Small Chablis domaines not accessible through public booking
  • Cellar tastings arranged around the winemaker's availability, not a fixed route
  • Wine purchases at cellar prices coordinated at the point of tasting
  • Private transfers from Dijon, Beaune, and regional airports included in the day
Heritour Voyage takes private guests only. Each itinerary is built around the guest's knowledge and interests. Vicky handles initial contact and planning in English, French, or Mandarin. Transport is provided in a private vehicle throughout the day.
