Katia founded La Vigne du Roy in 2008 and has spent years working directly in Champagne's vineyards, including winter pruning, with a focus on growers practicing organic and biodynamic viticulture. Her guiding is built on the personal relationships she has developed with independent Récoltant-Manipulant families: small estates where the same family farms the vines, makes the wine, and pours it for visitors. She leads tours personally, driving guests from the Reims railway station or their hotel.

Independent Récoltant-Manipulant estates in Champagne grow their own grapes, make their own wine, and take no public bookings. Katia reaches them through years of working alongside the growers themselves, in the vineyards and in the cellars.

  • Grand and Premier Cru family growers across the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, and Marne Valley, visited through personal relationships rather than public booking.
  • Mono-parcellaire cuvées and single-varietal monocépages from small-production estates, including 100% Meunier and 100% Pinot Blanc expressions whose wines rarely travel outside the region.
